THE ANSWER:

FIRST LHS= 2x/(x+7)(x-7)

2x/(x^2-7^2)

2x/(x^2-49)

NOW RHS= 1/x+7+a/x-7

by adding them by taking the lcm=x-7+a(x-7)/x^2-49

(here at the denominator i have us a^2-b^2 formula)

x-7+ax-7a/x^2-49

NOW equating LHS AND RHS

2x/x^2-49=x-7+ax-7a/x^2-49

(now x^2-49 and x^2-49 get cancelled)

the remaining are=2x=x-7+ax-7a

x=-7+ax-7a

x+7=ax-7a(if we take a as common we get)

x+7=a(x-7)

x+7/x-7=a
