4x^2 + y^2.

Answer:

(a+b)^2= a^2+b^2+2ab

a=2x b=y

(2x+y)^2= 4x^2+y^2 + 4xy

14^2 -4×6= 4x^2+y^2

38-24=14

14 is your answer
