Given =》

1) 2x+y=35————(1)

2) 3x+3y=65———(2)

Solution =》

2x+y=35————(1)

3x+3y=65———(2)

Multiply eq1 by 3 and eq2 by2

3(2x+y=35)

= 6x+3y=70————(3)

2(3x +3y=65)

= 6x+6y = 130————(4)

Subtract eq4 from eq3

6x + 6y = 130

6x + 3y = 70

- - -

——————–

3y = 60

y=60/3

y= 20

putting value of y in eq 1

2x+y=35

2x+20=35

2x=35-20

x=15/2

x=7.5

so, the value of x and y is 20 and 7.5
