So , we get two equations ,

☞ 2x - y = 4 ———(i)

and x + 2y = 7 ———(ii)

$\: \: \: \: \: \implies {5x \:= 15}$

$\: \: \: \: \: \implies {x \:= \frac{15}{5} }$

$\: \: \: \: \: \implies \bold {\underbrace{x \:= 3 }}$
