k =  - 6 \\ g(x) = x + 2 \\ x + 2 = 0 \\ x =  - 2 \\ f(x) =  {2x}^{3}  - k {x}^{2}  + 5x + 2 \\ f( - 2) = 2 {( - 2)}^{3}  - ( - 6)( - 2) + 5( - 2) + 2 \\ f( - 2) = 2 \times  (- 8) - (12) + ( - 10) + 2 \\  f( - 2) =  - 16 - 12 - 10 + 2 \\ f( - 2) =  - 38 + 2 \\ f( - 2) =  - 36

This is the remainder. Hope it helps you.
