Answer:

Supplementary angles measure is 180 degrees

Thus 2y+10+3y+15=180°

5y+25=180

5y=180-25=155

y=155/5

y=31

Value of y is 31.

Put y=31 in equation 1,

Angles are:-

2y+10=2(31)+10=62+10=72°

3y+15=3(31)+15=93+15=108°

Thus value of y is 31 and the angles are 72° and 108°.

We know that the measure of supplementary angle is 180 degree.

2y + 10 + 3y + 15 = 180

5y + 25 = 180

5y = 180 - 25

y = 155 / 5

y = 31

And angles

  • 2y + 10 = 2 x 31 + 10

= 62 + 10

= 72

  • 3y + 15 = 3 x 31 + 15

= 93 + 15

=108

Hence, the value of y is 31 and the measure of angles are 72 and 108 degree.
