value of y is 4....this is ur ans.
2y= 3-5x........ (1)
but X= -1
Substituting X= -1 in equation 1
2y =3-5 (-1)
2y= 3 +5
2y = 8
y =8/2
y=4

Bonjour!

Given equation ---› 2y = 3 - 5x

We have to find the value of y when x = -1. So, we will put the value of x in the given equation then we will get the answer as follows;

=> 2y = 3 - 5(-1)

=> 2y = 3 + 5

=> 2y = 8

=> y = 4

So, when the value of x = -1 then value of y = 4.

Hope this helps...:)
