charge of 1 e- = 1.6×10⁻¹⁹ C

Therefore,

Current = Charge/Time

In this case,

Charge = No: of e- × Charge of 1 e-

Charge = 3.2×10¹⁷×1.6×10⁻¹⁹ = 5.12×10⁻² C

Putting the values in the equation

Current = 5.12×10⁻²/0.5

             = 10.24×10⁻² = 0.1024 A
