If (√3 +√2)/( √3 - √2)= a+b√6 , find the values of a and b​

Answer:

By rationalizing denominator ,

(√3 +√2)/( √3 - √2) =  (√3 +√2)²/( (√3)² - (√2)²)

                                  = (5 + 2√6) / 3 - 2

                                  = 5 + 2√6

∴ a = 5 and b = 2
