Hey Mate..

Substituting x and y ...

We will get .

k(3) - 3( - 2) = 21 \\ 3k  + 6 = 21 \\ k = 5

here (x,y)=(3,-2)

hence putting this value in kx-3y=21

we get

k(3)-3(-2)=21

3k+6=21

3k=15

hence, k=15/3= 5
