L.C.M = 2
2x - 3/2
This no. is multiplied by 1/4
2x - 3/2 × 1/4 = 13/8
2x - 3 / 8 = 13/8
2x - 3( 8 ) = 13 × 8
2x - 3 = 13
2x = 13 + 3
2x = 16
x = 16 ÷ 2
x = 8

So the required no. is 8
