The value of a = 15 / 4

solution,

( x , y ) = ( 3 , 4 )

The given equation :

4x - ay + 3 = 0

Putting the value of x and y

4 × 3 - a × 4 + 3 = 0

12 - 4a + 3 = 0

- 4a = - 15

a =  \frac{15}{4}

Answer:

the answer is 3.75

Step-by-step explanation:

we have given the value of x and y that is 3 and 4 respectively.

then, we put the value of x and y in equation 4x-ay+3=0

we get ,4×3-a×4+3=0

12-4a+3=0

-4a+3=0-12

-4a+3= -12

-4a=-12-3

-4a= -15

a = -15/-4

a = 3.75 ( -ve means negative sign is divided each other)
