if 3/4 litres of milk is 30 rs. What is the cost of 1 litre of milk??

Answer:

1 litre is divided into four parts

so 3 parts by four parts (3/4)

3/30 = 10

1/4 =10 so 4/4(1 litre) = 40 rupees
