Since, 3^4x=9^x-2

=> 3^4x= 3^2(x-2)

=> 3^4x= 3^2x-4

=> 4x=2x-4 [Since, bases are same]

=> 2x= (-4)

=> x= (-2)

Now, 2^1+x= 2^1+(-2)

= 2^ (-1)

= 1/2.
