Answer:

Equation 1: x+y=9

Equation 2: x+5=y

Taking eq. 2

=> x+5=y

=> x=y-5

Putting the value of x in eq. 1

=> x+y=9

=> (y-5)+y=9

=> y+y=9+5

=> 2y=14

=> y=14/2

=> y= 7

Now, putting value of y in “x=y-5”,

=> x=7–5

=> x=2

So value of x is 2 and value of y is 7.

Given :

The given equation is : (-3/-5) = (9/x)

To find : The value of x

Solution :

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Here, we will be using normal algebraic method to solve this mathematical problem.

Now,

(-3/-5) = (9/x)

(-3) × (x) = (-5) × (9)

-3x = -45

3x = 45

x = 45/3

x = 15

(This will be considered as the final result. And, this value of x will satisfy the given equation.)

Hence, the value of x will be 15
