Let x be the number.

Given, x * 3/5 = x*2/7+44

          = 3x/5-2x/7=44

          = (21x-10x)/35=44

          =  11x=44 * 35

         x=(44 * 35)/11

          x=140

So, the number is 140.

Hope this helps!

Let the number be x
So,
3x/5  - 2x/7 = 44
21x - 10x/35 = 44
11x/35 = 44
x = 4 *35
x = 140
