If 3/5th of a number is 4 more than half the number, then find the number

Let the number be x.

∴3/5th of x will be 3x/5

Given that , 3x/5=x/2+4

∴3x/5-x/2=4

Taking LCM,

6x/10-5x/10=4

∴x/10=4

∴x=40
