Given :-

  • 3 - 9 - 1 = 24
  • 5 - 8 - 4 = 33
  • 1 - 2 - 3 = 14
  • 5 - 3 - 1 = ?

Solution :-

Logic :- 2(sum of all digits) - (first digit - second digit) = Result .

Explanation :-

3 - 9 - 1 = 24

→ 2(3 + 9 + 1) - (3 - 1)

→ 2 * 13 - 2

→ 26 - 2

24

similarly,

5 - 8 - 4 = 33

→ 2(5 + 8 + 4) - (5 - 4)

→ 2 * 17 - 1

→ 34 - 1

33

similarly,

1 - 2 - 3 = 14

→ 2(1 + 2 + 3) - (1 - 3)

→ 2 * 6 - (-2)

→ 12 + 2

14

then, applying same logic in next,

5 - 3 - 1 = ?

→ 2(5 + 3 + 1) - (5 - 1)

→ 2 * 9 - 4

→ 18 - 4

Given :  3,9,1 = 24 , 5,8,4 = 33 and 1,2,3 = 14

To find :  5,3,1 = ?

Solution:

3,9,1 = 24

1*3  + 2 * 9  +  3* 1

= 3 + 18 + 3

= 24

5,8,4 = 33

1*5 + 2 * 8 + 3*4

=5 + 16 + 12

= 33

1,2,3 = 14

1*1 + 2*2 + 3*3

= 1 + 4 + 9

= 14

5,3,1 =

1*5 + 2*3 + 3*1

= 5 + 6 + 3

= 14

Logic is  a , b , c  = d

=> d  = a  + 2b + 3c
