we first put x=3

a×3^2+b×3-9=0

or,9a+3b-9=0

we take 3 common

3a+b-3=0

____(1)

now we take x=-3

a×(-3)^2+b×(-3)-9=0

or,9a-3b-9=0

we take 3 common

3a-b-3=0

_____(2)

on adding (1)and(2) we get,

3a+b-3=0

+3a-b-3=0

___________

6a-6=0

6(a-1)=0

a-1=0

a=1

puttin a=1 in (1) we get,

3×1+b-3=0

3+b-3=0

3+b=3

b=3-3

b=0

hence , a=1 and b=0.
