hlo mate here's your answer

Brainteaser: If three cats catch three mice in three minutes, how many cats would be needed to catch 100 mice in 100 minutes?

If 3 cats catch 3 rats in 3 minutes, then 1 cat can catch 1 rat in the same 3 minutes, or put another way, a single cat can catch 1/3 of a rat per minute. So 1 cat can catch 33 1/3 rats in 100 minutes, so 3 cats can catch 100 rats in 100 minutes.

A cat catches a mouse, and then plays with it, often for fifteen minutes or more. Then, it may decide to take a nap. Cats sleep 70% of the day. You simply cannot rely on cats to continue to work at a steady pace. If you need that sort of performance, try a dog.

100 cats could each catch 1 mouse. If they are consistent about it, this would take three minutes. The remaining 97 minutes would be a combination of play, fine dining, and slumber.

3 cats: 3 mice : 3 minutes or or 1:1:1 one cat can catch 1 mice in one minute.

Isnt it correct that 100 cats can catch 100 mice in 100 minutes? Init couldnt

be 99 cats:99mice: 99minutes.i or 101 cats:101 mice: 101 mins.One is short

If 3 cats kill 3 rats in 3 minutes, then how many cats will it take to kill 30 rats in 30 minutes?

If five cats can kill five mice in five minutes, how long will it take 100 cats to kill 100 mice?

We see that 3 cats catch 3 mice in 3 minutes, which is to say that it takes 3 cat- minutes for the capture of a single mouse. To catch 100 mice, then, 300 cat-minutes will be required, which means that just 3 cats can do the job of catching the 100 mice if each cat puts in 100 minutes.

So the answer is 3 cats.

one cat catches one mouse in three minutes.

100/3 = 33 -1/3 one cat

so 3 cats if they kept the same rate. Which they wouldn’t be able too do

Three mice are not exceptional, but one hundred certainly would be. For that reason it would not be correct to assume that the cats would each continue to perform at a rate of 3.0 minutes per mouse caught, and the question cannot be solved using the information provided.

Each cat can catch 1 mouse in 3 minutes.

So it takes 1 cat to catch 100 mice in 300 min.

So 3 cats takes 100 min for 100 mice.

Given:

Total number of cats = 3

Total number of mice = 3

Time taken to catch the mice = 3 min

To Find:

Cats required to catch 100 mice in 100 minutes

Solution:

3 cats catch 3 mice in 3 minutes

Therefore,

The total time needed by the cat to catch 3 mice = 3 x 3 min

Now,

Time needed by cat to catch one mice = 3x3/3

= 9/3

= 3 min

Time needed to catch 100 mice = 100 x 3 min

Since, there are hundred cats so each will spend the time -

(100 x 3) / 100 minutes

= 300/100

=  3 min

Answer: 100 cats working simultaneously for 3 minutes will catch 100 mice.
