Cost of one stool be 'y'

$3x + 2y = 1200$
$5x + 3y = 1900$

Multiply first equation by '5'
and second equation by '3'

$15x + 10y = 6000$
$15x + 9y = 5700$

By subtracting, we get

$y = 300$

Sub it in first equation

$3x + 2y = 1200$

$3x + 2(300) = 1200$

$3x + 600 = 1200$

$3x = 600$

$x = \dfrac{600}{3}$

$x = 200$

Now, cost of two chairs and two stools

= 2x + 2y

= 2(200) + 2(300)

= 400 + 600
