Hey there!
Here, Number of ice cubes and Volume of Water show a direct variation.
Hence, Number of cubes / Volume of water = K [ Proportionality constant ]
At the first situation,
Number of cubes = 3 ,Volume of water = 2 litres, K = 3/2 .
Now, In the second situation,
We have Volume of water = 200 litres, K = 3/2 .
Let number of ice cubes = x.
x / 200 = 3/2
=> 2x = 3 * 200
=> x = 600/2
=> x = 300 .
Therefore, 300 ice cubes are required to make Sharbat of 200 litres.
