If 3 grams of Oxygen react completely with Magnesium to form 7g of MgO. What mass of Oxygen is required for 10 g of Magnesium.

7gm of Mg is produced from 3gm of oxygen

then 1gm Mg is produced from 3/7gm of oxygen

then,

10 grams of Mg will be produced from 3/7×10 =4.2gm of Oxygen
