Answer:

x = 3

x²+2x-a = 0

3² + 2(3) - a = 0

9+6-a = 0

15-a = a

a = 15

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Just use f(x) to solve the problem....As 3 is a root of the polynomial,if we replce x by 3,then obviously,the remainder will be 0 (according to remainder theorem).
