Answer:

x^2+mx-3=0__________a

x^2+mx-n=0__________b

if -3 is the root of quadratic equation

then put it into a and b in place of x

by putting the value of x we get

eq a becomes

9-3m-3=0

6-3m=0

3m=6

m=2

by putting value of x=-3 and m=2. in eq b

we get,

9+(2)(-3)-n=0

9-6-n=0

3-n=0

n=3

hence value of n =3
