\huge{\boxed{\boxed{\mathfrak{\underline{\overline{\red{S{\green{o{\orange{l{\blue{u{\pink{t{\purple{i{\color{silver}o{\color{cyan}n}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Given that √3 is irrational.

Let 2 + 4√3 be rational number.

 \implies2 + 4 \sqrt{3}  =  \frac{p}{q}  \\  \implies4 \sqrt{3}  =  \frac{p - 2q}{q}  \\  \implies \sqrt{3}  = \frac{p - 2q}{4q}

Here, √3 is irrational but \frac{p - 2q}{4q}\\ is rational, which is contradict.

 \therefore Our \: assumption \: is \: wrong \\  \implies2 + 4 \sqrt{3}  \: is \: irrational
