Answer:

=x³+3x²+kx-24

(3)3 + 3(3)2 + k(3) - 24

27+54 + 3k - 24

57+3k

K=57/3

K=19

K = -10 is your answer

Step-by-step explanation:

p(x)= x³+3x² + Kx- 24

g(x)= x-3

this gives x=3 in p(x) = 0

p(3)= 3³+ 3(3)² + 3k - 24

= 27 + 27 + 3k - 24

= 54 - 24 + 3k

= 30 + 3k

= 30 = -3k

k = 30/-3

k = -10
