Step-by-step explanation:

given polynomial is

( k-1) x²+ kx-3

given one zeros is -3 let other be p

then sum of both zeros

-3+p = -k/ (k-1)

=> p= 3- k/ ( k-1)

= (2k-3)/ ( k-1)..............(1)

again

product of both zeros

-3× p= -3/ (k-1)=> p= 1/(k-1) .........(2)

=> 2k-3= 1. (. from (1) and (2) )

=> k = 2

substituting in polynomial we get

x²+2x-3

hence. product of zeros

= - 3/1= -3
