if 3 men or 4 women can reap a field in 43 days, how long will 7 men and 5 women take to reap it​?

3M*43 = total work ,which is equal to 4W*43 (Since efficiency *time =total work)

so equating both eqn

3M*43=4W*43

so we get efficiency ratio M:W =4:3

total work = 3*4*43 =516

total work/efficency =time

516/(7M+5W) =time

substituting efficiency ratio in the above eqn

516/(7*4 + 5*3) =12days
