Question

if 3 resistance of 3 ohm each are connected in parallel ,with will be their total resistance

Given

3 resistance of 3 ohm are connected in parallel arrangement...

To find

total resistance

Solutions

☄️A circuit is said to be connected in parallel when the voltage is the same across the resistors.

☄️The following relation gives the total resistance of a parallel circuit.

  \large \bold{ \to\frac{1}{ R_{eq}}  =  \frac{1}{ R_{1}}  +  \frac{1}{ R_{2}}  +  .......+  \frac{1}{  R_{n} } }

Now substitute the values in the above formula:

  \to \bold{ \frac{1}{R_{eq}}  =  \frac{1}{ 3}  +  \frac{1}{ 3}  +  \frac{1}{  3 } } \\  \\   \to \bold{ \frac{1}{R_{eq}}  =  \frac{3}{ 3}   = 1} \\  \\  \bold  \purple{\to \: R_{eq} = 1 \: ohm}

therefore the resistance in the circuit will be 1 ohm if 3 resistors of 3 ohm are connected in parallel arrangement.

MoRE information!!!

✏️A circuit is composed of conductors (wire), power source, load, resistor and switch.

✏️Resistors control the flow of the electric current in a circuit.

✏️A circuit is said to be connected in series when the same amount of current flows through the resistors.

✏️The following relation gives the total resistance of a series circuit:

 \bold {➙R_{eq} = R_{1} + R_{2} + R_{3} + .... + R_{n}}
