Let theta = x

so, we can write the ques.

as √3*sec x = 2

so, sec x = 2/√3

hence, cos x = √3/2

      So, x = 30°

We know that cos 3x = 4*cos^3 x - 3cos x

so, 4*cos^3 x - 3cos x = cos 3(30°) = cos (90°) = 0
