If √3 sin theta=cos theta, then find sec theta.

Solution

 \sqrt{3}  \sin(a)  =  \cos(a)  \\  =  >  \tan(a)  =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{3} }  \\  =  >  \tan(a)  =  \tan(30)  \\  =  > a = 30 \\  =  >  \sec(a)  =  \sec(30)  =  \frac{2}{ \sqrt{3} }

SOLUTION:-

3 sin∅ = cos ∅

=> ✓3 = cos∅/sin∅

=> ✓3 = cot∅

=> cot30° = cot∅

=> 30° = ∅

Now,

sec∅

= sec30°

= 2/✓3
