if 3 tan A= 4, then find sin^2 A,cos^2 A

Answer:

3tanA = 4

tan A = 4/3

perpendicular = 4kunits

base = 3k units

hypotenuse = 5k units

therefore sin^2 A = (4k/5k)^2 = 16/25

cos^2A = (3k/5k)^2 = 9/25
