if 3 times of a larger number is divided by smaller number the quotient is 4 and remainder is 3 and when 7 times of the smaller number is divided by the larger number then quotient is 5 and remainder is 1.find the two number​

Let the larger number be a

And smaller number be b

According to first condition ,

3a = 4b + 3

=> 15a = 20b + 15 ------(1)

According to second condition,

7b = 5a + 1

=> 21b = 15a + 3 ---------(2)

On adding equation (1) and (2), we get

21b = 20b + 18

=> b = 18

Now,

Putting the value of b in equation 1, we get

15a = 360 + 15

=> 15a = 375

=> a = 25

Larger number= 25

Smaller number = 18

$(3a = 4b + 3)$

$= 15a = 20b + 15$ equation - 1

Equation - (2)

$(7b = 5a + 1)$

$(21b = 20b + 18)$

$= (b = 18)$

Adding values for b to equation 1
