If (-3)^x - 1 = -243, then find the value of (-7)^x-6.

(-3)^x-1= - 243

(-3)^x-1= (-3)^5

x-1=5

x=5+1

x=6

Now,

= (-7)^x-6

=(-7)^6-6

=(-7)^0

=1
