if 3^x+1=9^x-2, find 2^x+1​

Answer:

3^x+1 =9^x-2

[*9=3^2 then the 9^x-2 will become as 3^2x-4]

3^x+1=3^2x-4

[As the bases are same and the power are different, cancel the 3 on either side]

then

x+1=2x-4

2x-x=4+1

X=5

Now,

2^x+1

=2^5+1

=2^6

=64
