Answer: 20 men would complete the work is 22 and 1/2 days

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use unitary method and also unitary method would be the easiest method to solve this question

30 men ———— 15 days

20 men ———— (30 * 15) / 20

In normal unitary method, we would have cross multiplied and solved the question, but this is solved using inverse proportionality as less number of men will take more number of days to do the work, and more number of men would take less number of days to do the same work

Using this concept, 20 men would take (30 * 15) / 20 days

=> 45/2 = 22.5 days

Therefore 20 men would complete the same work is 22 and 1/2 days
