30A=40B=50C=k(constant)

A =k/30
B=k/40
C=k/50

A:B:C=20:15:12

Answer:

A:B:C =20:15:12

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : If 30% of A = 40% of B =50% of C

To find : What is the value of A:B:C?

Solution :

According to question,

30% of A = 40% of B =50% of C

i.e. \frac{30}{100}A=\frac{40}{100}B=\frac{50}{100}C

3A=4B=5C

Let  3A=4B=5C=x

So, A=\frac{x}{3},  B=\frac{x}{4} and  C=\frac{x}{5}

Now, A:B:C =\frac{x}{3}:\frac{x}{4}:\frac{x}{5}

A:B:C =\frac{1}{3}:\frac{1}{4}:\frac{1}{5}

LCM of 3, 4 and 5 is 60 .

A:B:C =\frac{60}{3}:\frac{60}{4}:\frac{60}{5}

A:B:C =20:15:12

Therefore,  A:B:C =20:15:12
