ANSWER:-

Given:

If (30x+2y)/(4x+y)= 16/3

To find:

x:y

Solution:

 \frac{(30x + 2y)}{(4x + y)} = \frac{16}{3} \\ [cross \: multiplication] \\ \\ = > 3(30x + 2y) = 16(4x + y) \\ \\ = > 90x + 6y = 64x + 16y \\ \\ = > 90x - 64x =16y - 6y \\ \\ = > 26x = 10y \\ \\ = > 13x = 5y \\ \\ = > x \ratio y = 13 \ratio 5

Hope it helps ☺️
