any multiple of 3 has the sum of its digits to be the multiple of 3
here when we sum its digit we will get 3+1+5+y=9+y
therefore y =0
because the sum is already the multiple of 3
hope u get it!!!

We know that the digits of the multiples of 3, add up to give another multiple of 3.
For example 54 , 5+4=9 which is divisible by 3
963, 9+6+3=18 which is also divisible by 3
So they are the multiples of 3.
As per this 3+1+y+5 should be divisible by 3
Therefore y can be 0,3,6,9
