48 men working 10 hours a day can do double that work in 24 days.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the formula of the Man-Days-Hours is given by,

Here we have,

M1 = No. of workers = 32

D1 = No. of days = 15 days

H1 = No. of hours a day = 12 hours

H2 = No. of hours a day = 10 hours

D2 = No. of days = 24 days

W1 & W2 = work done

M2 = No. of workers = need to find?

It is given that the work done by M2 is double the work done by M1 i.e.,

W2 = 2W1 ⇒ W2/W1 = 2/1

Therefore, by substituting the given values

⇒ M2 =

⇒ M2 = 48 days

Thus, 48 men can do double the work by working for 10 hours a day in 24 days.
