Given that length of cloth required to stitch 35 shirts = 49/2.
Then the cloth required to stitch 1 shirt = 49/2 * 35
= 49/70.
Therefore the length of cloth required to stitch 4 shirts = 49/70 * 4
= 0.7 * 4 = 2.8m

49/2m for 35 shirts
? m for 1 shirt
45/2 /35
24.5÷35
0.7m
length of cloth required for each shirt is 0.7 m
