Let the strength of the school=x

% of girls = (100-36)%

= 64%

64% of x =816

64/100 × x = 816

64 x = 816 × 100

x = 816 ×100/64

x= 51 ×25

x= 1275

the number of girls is 1275 are in the school.

I think it's helpful for you. thankyou.

Answer:

459 girls

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the percentage of girls is 36%, the percentage of boys is 64%.

You will get 64% (boys) by subtracting 36% (girls) from the 100% (total).

Since in this case, 64% = 816,

1 % = 12.75

36% = 459

Thus the number of girls in this school is 459.
