Total cloth available  = 64 metres

No: of trousers that can be stitsched = 36

Cloth required for 1 trouser = 64 / 36 = 1.777778  m

Hello yaar,

Let the length of cloth required be x

Given,

36 trousers of equal size are stitched.

As per the sum,

36x = 64

x = 64/36

= 1.78(approx)

Therefore the cloth required = 1.8 m

hope it helps u.......
