Time taken by 39 men = 15 days
Time taken by 1 man = 15 × 39 days
Time taken by 45 men = 15 × 39 / 45 days
= 13 days ( For same length of the canal )

Length is double So time taken will also be double,
.°. Time taken by 45 men to dig a canal whose length is double this canal = 2 × 13 days
= 26 days

Answer. Time taken by 45 men to dig a canal whose length is double this canal is 26 days.
