Answer:

If 3A=2b=5c, then find A:B:C?

3A=2B=5C

Taking the LCM of 3 , 2 & 5 , we get 30 .

Therefore,

30A10=30B15=30C6

Dividing all by 30 , we get,

A10=B15=C6=k (say)

A10 =k

=>A=10k

B15 =k

=>B=15k

C6 =k

=>C=6k

Now,

A:B:C=10k:15k:6k

Removing k ,

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer:

  (a)  a : b = 11 : 3

  (b)  a : b : c = 22 : 6 : 3

Step-by-step explanation:

(a) Dividing the given equation by 3b, we get ...

  (3a)/(3b) = (11b)/(3b)

  a/b = 11/3

  a : b = 11 : 3

__

(b) We are given b = 2c, so c = b/2. Then we have the ratio ...

  a : b : c = 11 : 3 : 3/2

We can clear the fraction by multiplying by 2:

  a : b : c = 22 : 6 : 3
