To Find : Value of k

Solution:

linear equation x+y=6

point lies on line (3k,4k-1)

x = 3k

y = 4k-1

3k + 4k - 1 = 6

=> 7k = 7

=> k = 1

Value of k = 1

Point is 3k = 3

4k - 1 = 3

( 3 , 3) is a solution of x + y = 6  

as 3 + 3 = 6

Value of k = 1
