Answer:

Your Answer:-

t = [a +(n-1)d]

3rd term = 4

=> (a +2d) = 4

=> a = 4-2d...(1)

8th term = 8

=> (a+7d) = 8

Now put the value of a derived from first eq. and solve

a+7d = 8

=> 4 - 2d + 7d = 8

=> 5d = 4

=> d = 4/5

Now a = 4 - 2d

=> 4 -2× 4/5

=> 4 - 8/5

=> 12/5

Now 0th term = [a + (n -1)d]

0 = 12/5 + ( n-1)4/5

=>-12/5 = 4/5n - 4/5

=> -12/5 + 4/5 = 4/5n

=> - 8/5 = 4/5n

=> -2 = n

So, -2 term of AP is 0
