Answer:

The value of cotØ is 3/4.

Given:

  • 3secØ = 4cosecØ

To find:

  • The value of cotØ.

Solution:

=> 3secØ = 4cosecØ

=> secØ/cosecØ = 4/3

But, secØ = 1/cosØ & cosecØ = 1/sinØ

=> (1/cosØ) / (1/sinØ) = 4/3

=> sinØ/cosØ = 4/3

But, cotØ = cosØ/sinØ

=> cotØ = 3/4

The value of cotØ is 3/4.

Extra information:

Trigonometric ratio:

  • cosecØ = 1/sinØ

  • secØ = 1/cosØ

  • tanØ = sinØ/cosØ

  • tanØ =secØ/cosecØ

  • cotØ = 1/tanØ

  • cotØ = cosØ/sinØ

  • cotØ = cosecØ/secØ
