Answer :

  • cosθ = 3/5
  • tanθ = 4/3

Given :

  • 3secθ = 5

To Find :

  • cosθ and tanθ

Solution :

→ 3secθ = 5

→ secθ = 5/3

As we know that

  • secθ = H/B

Where

  • H = 5
  • B = 3

= + [ Pythagoras theorem ]

Put the values in the formula

→ (5)² = (P)² + (3)²

→ 25 = P² + 9

→ 25 - 9 = P²

→ P² = 16

→ P = 4

Now

  • cosθ = B/H = 3/5
  • tanθ = P/B = 4/3

Extra Shots :

  • sinθ = P/H
  • cosθ = B/H
  • tanθ = P/B
  • cosecθ = H/P
  • secθ = H/B
  • cotθ = B/P

Where :

  • H = hypotenuse
  • P = perpendicular
  • B = base
